Introduction

This Policy sets out how PublicDesign Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "the Company") handles personal information in connection with the digital visibility diagnostic service "Meowsaur" (the "Service"). The Company's general handling of personal information on its corporate website is governed separately by the Company's corporate privacy policy; for personal information the Company obtains in connection with use of the Service, this Policy takes precedence.

Article 1 (Information We Collect)

In providing the Service, we may collect the following information.

  • Name, company name, department/title, email address, and phone number of the contracting party and users
  • Information used for login authentication (registered email address, history of authentication token issuance and verification)
  • Payment-related information (contract plan, billing history, etc., excluding card information held by the payment processor)
  • Analytics data and OAuth connection information obtained through accounts that users connect to the Service, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Business Profile
  • Business data registered by users in the Service, such as website URLs, keywords, and competitor information
  • Usage data for the Service (access logs, cookies, IP addresses, etc.)
  • Records of inquiries and support interactions

The Service analyzes data relating to a contracting party's own business (such as their website's search rankings and AI-mention status) and does not identify or track individual end consumers or end users who visit the contracting party's website.

Article 2 (Purposes of Use)

We use the information we collect for the following purposes.

  • To provide the Service, including identity verification and authentication (magic-link login)
  • To bill and process payment for usage fees
  • To generate reports, analysis results, and improvement proposals
  • To respond to inquiries and provide support
  • To improve the quality of the Service and to evaluate new features
  • To statistically process collected information, in a form that does not identify individual contracting parties or resellers, for the purpose of analyzing industry trends and usage patterns, creating benchmarks, and other cross-tenant analysis conducted internally
  • To investigate and respond to conduct that violates the Terms of Service
  • To send important notices (such as changes to the Terms or the Service)

Article 3 (Use of Cookies, etc.)

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain login sessions and to analyze usage. Users may decline the use of cookies through their browser settings; however, doing so may render some features of the Service unavailable.
